MPower: Organisers

The rise of anti-migrant rhetoric and violence throughout the country is continuing to snowball and our migrant communities are systemically excluded from getting involved in politics. So, we need migrant leaders who understand our lived experience, can positively organise their communities and who will build migrant electoral power!

MPower: Organisers trains leaders with the skills needed to organise and engage our migrant communities to become actively and politically involved! This practically looks like carrying out voter-registration drives, organising hustings and providing political and policy education in our communities. Leaders also learn how to run electoral campaigns - giving them the skills to pursue electoral campaigning and political party organising opportunities.
