MPower: Organisers Programme
Our new MPower: Organisers Programme is a political training programme for those who may have less experience in political organising, and who may not want to or cannot stand for office. This programme will develop community organising skills and knowledge, through a democratic and electoral focus.
The rise of anti-migrant rhetoric and violence throughout the country is continuing to snowball, and we need migrant leaders who understand our lived experience and can positively bring people together. Our migrant communities are systemically excluded from getting involved in politics and this programme will train leaders to provide migrant communities with knowledge on the UK political system, registering to vote, and taking a stand in support of the Votes For All campaign!
If you have any questions, please contact our Elections and Training Manager at roise@migrantdemos.org.uk.
